I get to go back to work at the end of the month! Just for 6 days to cover my work-wife, but I'm excited about it anyway. We haven't had a call in a couple weeks because my grand-boss is on vacation, so maybe next week we'll have some updates. I would not be surprised at all if I don't go back to regular work for the rest of the year :(
ktlovely and I have been watching Avatar: The Last Airbender recently, sort of. We both started rewatching it and have been sling-shotting around each other on which episodes lol. Yesterday I let Guido outside without his harness, just his collar, and he had adventures for FIVE HOURS so I watched an entire season (the last 6 of Book 2, and the first 14 of Book 3) while knitting. Y'all, this show is so good. I loved it the first time and I'm loving it more the second time. The layers of detail that went into creating it. The story. The characters. The relationships between those characters. So so so good.
I spent most of the last few weeks knitting. We had the dogs for about a week and on the days I was home alone with them, I definitely didn't want to spend all my time in the basement, so I really haven't been down there much. Also one set of the two fluorescent lights burned out, so it's darker and I'm not a huge fan. I want to replace them with daylight bulbs bc the glaring fluorescentness is just way too much.
Now my one roommate is leaving us this month, so we are looking to find someone to take the room. I feel AWFUL having both the biggest room and 80% of hte basement, so i'm seriously considering moving into hers, even though it's the smallest one. I also hate having so much bedroom space, as with my insomnia issues sleep hygiene is very important to me, so I'd really rather have my room for sleeping and not much else. That's all the space there really is in there, bed and clothes. Ugh I don't like this, but it's gotta be done.
