Quarantine life, part 2

totchipandaRoommate's coworker was positive for COVID-19, after coming to work for two days, then coming in sick and going home. We found out mid Friday afternoon. I am home today while we wait for roomie's test results. She will still have to quarantine for 14 days though, but at least if she's negative she can come to the rest of the house.
Finished my NaNoWriMo with hours to spare!
A book for a series I was reading came out on the 1st, and I had initially planned to get it through the library, but then I said heck it and went to buy it. And hten spent two full evenings reading. It was a good end to the series, and I have a lot of Feelings about it overall that I've been noodling on since September.
This weekend's sewing was to stitch together my dress, adjust it (it's SO LONG over the shoulder, the bottom of the armscye was at the bottom of my ribs!), and then started working on a project for my lovely friend, whose father died in June. She gave me a pattern and some shirts to turn into teddy bears.
I have the end of this week booked off, so as long as I cna go back to work, I have 2-3 days this week, 4.5 days next week, and hten I'm off until January lol. I will sleep in and bake and rest my noodler.
