The Saga concludes

Hopefully I never have to post about this again, but the printer saga is over! My guy was here yesterday to put the extra bits together and now I have a fully functional printer.
On Saturday I rented and drove my first big vehicle. I rented a UHaul for my last move but couldn't drive it, and this was the first one I did myself! I was so scared to drive it. It was brand new, only had 177 kms on it (a hair over 100 miles), and felt so big!! It was a 12-ft cargo van, and I drive a Kia Rio! But it handled really well, and I liked being up so high to see over everyone's heads hehehe. Then I met my dad and brother at my friend's old place and picked up her couches, which are now my couches. The whole day felt consumed by that even though the van was returned by noon and we had them in place before 1pm.
Sunday was a sewing day. I'm doing a shirtwaist pattern with raglan sleeves instead of the set-in ones I've been drafting, which was kinda fun. I didn't see it much in catalogues but a couple of the drafting manuals show how to make one, so it's not unheard of. The sleeve has drag marks on the front arm only, which I think is a sleeve head issues, but also how does one adjust for that in a raglan? I added some length, we'll see how that goes. I sewed a bit on it last night too, it's looking really nice, and chambray is just such a great fabric <3
