one week later

totchipandaThings settled down a little. We've been working towards my boss leaving (sob sob) and it's been mostly smooth. No word on a new person yet, as far as I'm aware only one interview has been done.
Been way too tired of late to do any crafting. Saturday I tried on the bodice one more time (its great!), and then stitched the center back seam of the skirts before I had to run out to meet my workwife. After I'd dropped her off and returned home, we decided to go check out a bunch of stores for halloween stuff. Y'all.. I'm not even joking, we made 10 stops, and one of them was a mall, where we went to four stores. Only one of those stops was explicitly for food. I was so tired after! So much walking!
Then on Sunday I had a picnic with some of my longest friends, one of whom brought her 6-week old baby, then I got lots of baby cuddles.
Work was very busy on Mon-Tues, and my period started, so I basically did not sleep for several days. Yesterday was the first time I MADE myself get the skirts going again, and did most of one seam. Woo.
I'm starting to think seriously about adopting a cat again. I almost went to an adoption event on the weekend, but I was too hungry and I knew I had food at home, plus I had forgotten the carrier so I just went home. The diabetic senior I was looking at was still available, but it's still the same multipage application process, so I haven't had any brains to sit down and complete it.
And like... I super need to ask my doc about screening for ADHD. It's so bad. Especially in the first part of the week when I was super busy and therefore very distractable, I couldn't keep a thought in my head for more than 30 seconds.
