Saturday I started sewing. Well, first I tossed the fabric I had chosen (a nice poly/rayon blend in bottom weight which is also very PINK) into the wash, and while I waited for that, I put on all the layers and pinned the Angelica bodice to the skirt and tried it on. And it's perfect, so onwards with the sewing. When I have a moment, at least. Then I made the waistband and cut out the lining pieces since those fabrics WERE washed, and called it a day as I had a writing event through the afternoon. And napped.

Sunday I cut out the pants and began sewing. I don't have a really appropriate zipper though, so I have stopped yet again. I asked my friend if she had one in the right colour, as she was supposed to arrive in the afternoon for garage clean out, but their elderly doggo wasn't feeling well so it didn't happen. And ever since, I've had other things to do, plus it got really cold (which means the basement is cold), and my period started and it was a mess, and basically all I've done is curl up on the couch and knit. Like not even writing.

Long weekend this week. Tonight we are going to see the new Black Panther movie, Saturday I have a massage, and Sunday is our next Broadway performance (Jesus Christ Superstar, of which I know exactly 3 words, go on guess what they are). Tomorrow is the only day I will have fully off, and most of Saturday too.

Next week I start holiday work! I'm also currently at 6k words of my "novel" (it's not gonna be a novel, it's gonna be a large collection of assorted fanfiction), when I should have 16.6k by the end of today so uh... I will try to do some writing too lol.
