Two years ago I thought I'd go for a Tudor Summer (like a hot girl summer, with bonus Bananarama lyrics ruining) and even worked on a couple pieces. I put the hemd pieces aside because I wanted to start on my Victorian suit. Of course now I have no idea where they are.

I have a couple opportunities this year for ren faire visits, which is not a thing here though there's a couple that are trying to be, so it's very exciting! I'm excited to have an event to sew for. I know I don't have to do anything ultra "accurate", or even make anything at all, but it's fun to plan. So here we go.

I thought I would go back to this project simply because it's already started. I doubt my dress fits anymore, since it didn't fit super well to start with. I have since used some of the other wools for other projects (that delicious teal has become an Edwardian walking skirt and I think I have enough leftover for a vest). Perhaps I will switch to a fully English Tudor look as opposed to German, but who knows rn. I really would like to get that hemd made!

Tudor is on my list, too, but not anywhere close to starting, yet. Having events to go to really helps

Use the opportunity! (I would totally go bonkers with historic costumes if I had at least a few people to attend events with for sure.)

I just might! But it'll have to be in August after I make a few other things.

I have two old attempts. One in too small upholstery fabric and one using the Tudor Tailor, but with too thick and not enough yardage which didn’t fit right. I did buy a French hood pattern. That might be more fun as a start.
