Smocking embroidery continues apace. I finished the little diamonds that I had posted on Instagram. They're a little janky, but for my first embroidery project EVER that isn't counted cross-stitch, I like it. I started the next row last night, though I don't really have a design planned, but didn't get too far into it before dinner was ready. Then the aurora watch was on red alert so we went out to try and find a dark place to watch them, but by the time we did, it was cloudy.

When I got home, I put James' motor onto Milly and gave her a run. That motor is about the same, though it sounds a little better and doesn't smell. Pulled out the green wool twill to measure, and I have 2 yards of 60" wide, which isn't really enough for pants. I had planned to use it for a skirt anyway.

Tomorrow I will be home alone. I plan to do laundry, and as long as I can commit to a project, I'd like to spend time in the sewing room. Maybe playing with the projector, maybe not.

I also plan to put Shadow and Bone on again. It's been a full week since my last watch, it's time ;)
