I was SO HECKIN RELIEVED to get my paycheque this week hahaha. The past two weeks I had literally nothing. The last of my required June payments came out yesterday so this one is all for me!

Sort of. I still have some Adult Responsibilities, like credit card payments, and I offered to help with the beanies' vet visit next week. I accounted for my therapy appointment but not the reimbursement so that I don't go too hard. And it's all gone already lolsob.

I did get some things tho. A video game (Disney Dreamlight Valley), some fun yarn, and we're going to get cookies tonight. I'd like to get a pattern or two but that might have to wait still. I have plenty to work with. All I really need is interfacing!

Yesterday was spent gaming lol. I did put one row into my project and I need to do a lot more in order to finish my self-imposed deadline of two more weeks.

Today was one of the big training days as we had reports to submit, and I built my very first pivot table! And somehow missed like half of the information I needed on it, so I had to do it again lol. It was a good learning experience, and I'm already trying to think of ways to streamline some processes. Like why do I need to visually and manually count one of the values, SURELY there's a formula or some conditional formatting I can use to do it for me.

Ah, the joys of spreadsheets. On the plus side, there should be some YouTube/tutorials for macros and shortcuts, etc.

Managing all the finances is definitely a crappy part of adulthood. Why can't it all be stay up late and eat ice cream whenever you want? But go you on being on top of your financial responsibilities and such!

There is indeed! (this same coworker used to ask me how to do stuff that was EASILY google-able, like how to make an email template, and yet she didn't know about auto sum or that highlighting cells will give you a count at the bottom. Google is always my first line of questioning lol)

Other coworker heard me saying that the spreadsheet was fun, and said that my idea of fun was skewed. Man has never organized a thing on Excel and it shows lol.

TOO RIGHT. No one mentions this part of being an adult, but I'm not sure I would have believed them if they had lol. I ate a cookie for breakfast yesterday, it was certainly A Decision, if probably not the right one (so... sweet...)

For my rent, and my car insurance, and credit card payments, and groceries... I've been living paycheck to paycheck for yeaaaaarrrrsssss and im very used to this delicate balancing act lolsob.

I mean... you're not wrong, my paychecks ARE largely spoken for with just adult things. At least the car payments are done (really should not have bought one or at least not the one I did, but I don't regret it) and that money is now funneled into credit cards so the previous cc money leaves me a little extra.
