CP Delf Yder and CP Delf Breakaway (normal, open-eyed limited head, sadly bodiless)

uhhmmm... yes and no...

8. What was your first reaction when you saw your SD for the first time?
Relief.. I was having nightmares about his arrival and he wasn't perfect in them, or delayed, and I was on pins and needles all week.

9. Have you shown your doll off at a Doll Show?
Yes :D

10. Which do you prefer? Commercial SDs (such as Kyon customised dolls) or Customizing your own SD?
i like to do my own, if only because I don't want to pay extra for something I can do a passable job of myself.

11. How do you feel about Commercial SDs?
they're coo' if thats what you want.

12. Did you create a personality/background for your doll(s)? If so, describe them!
Saki and Ren have both existed as RP/story characters for about 6 years. Um, fill this in later. There's LOTS.

13. What type of relationship do you have with your doll (ex. beloved daughter, friend)?
I refer to them as my cousins to explain their prominence in my life, if it comes up...

14. Does your SD have a nickname?
Saki is short for Sakito, but that's about it.

none

17. Did you buy a chair specifically for your SD?
Nope

Saki has a cell phone and a small candy

19. What hard to find items do you wish you could get for your doll?
Ren would need a guitar O-o;

20. What is the most expensive thing you've bought for your doll?
uhhhmmmm.... probably Saki's suit, which was a steal at $55 US....

21. When you go out, do you take your doll with you?
depending on where and what, yup ;)

22. If so, where have you taken your doll?
Saki's come to movie, cons and picnics with me, and Ren got to go bowling.

23. Is there a regular place you take your doll out to?
the picnics, and any local events such as cons or meet-ups

24. If you do take your doll out of the house, how do you carry him? (ex. SD violin case, backpack,etc)
He has a case, but occassionally I'll tuck him into my bag, or just carry him in my arms.

25. When you do take your doll out, is it easy to do or do you find it's more trouble than it's worth?
It's usually easy. Only tough when I have to carry him a long way O_O

26. Does your doll have a friend? Do you think your doll wants a friend?
they have acquaintances...

27. If you could build your dream FCS for free, what would it be?
oh... boy.... uhhmm... well I'm lusting after Latidoll's K right now, he'd really be about as perfect as it gets....

uhhmmm..... don;t really have one O_o

Most sleeping heads.. I don't like them o-o

30. What type of fantasy head would you like to see produced?
humm... elves have already been done and I'm not big into anything else...

just what they;re wearing, cause I'm too poor to have more than three wigs for 2 heads ^^;

32. What made you choose your SD out of all the various types?
I was hard-core into El, but when Yder came out, I just about cried. I thought he was just so pretty. When I bought him, I reasoned that I could either continue to whine about how much I wanted him and not be able to have him, or get him and shut the hell up and be happy. It worked ;) I never intended to have character dolls, but I after I did his face, he reminded me of Saki, so Saki he became.

33. Do you change your SD's wig often and have you tried styling the wigs?
Don't change them, but I do style them a little. Saki had one cut, and Ren's is fur.

34. How many wigs do you have?
three ;_; soon to be four!

35. How many shoes do you have for your doll? Does your doll have socks too?
two pairs, and there's some socks floating around.

36. What types of clothing does your doll wear? (name in order of favorite styles)
they';re both jeans and tshirts kinda guys. Ren's clothing tends to be a little punkier, whereas Saki is more laidback. However, they only have limited clothing, and none of it includes jeans... (of coruse, Ren doesn't even have a body to wear clothes ON)


37. Where do you purchase your SD clothing?
when I actually buy it... uhhmmm.... actually, they only have one item that I've actually bought, besides socks O-o and that's the suit, which was a group order ran on DOA and made by a company in HK that also does cosplay costumes. (it is a goooorgeously made suit)

38. Do you sew clothing for your doll?
yes ^^; Again, why spend money on something I can do myself?

39. Do you plan on dressing your doll as an anime character? If so, who?
maybe as a cosplay some day, but not sure who yet ;)

40. Do you make accessories for you doll? What kinds?
none so far

42. Do you sew/knit/crochet and for how long?
I've been sewing since I was 13, but only got serious about it in the last few years.

43. Is there a type of music that you listen to when you are with your doll?
Not really. Saki enjoys Britney Spears though.

nope. They tend to hang around my desk, and i usually do any custom work at the kitchen table ;)

46. For how long did you know about SDs before you actually got your SD?
umm... a long time O-o;; at least 4 years. At the time I was introduced to them, Volks was the only company making them, you had to buy them through a shopping service, and the one I wanted the most was at least $1500

47. Do you carry your doll around in the house?
if the occassion warrants XD

48. Is there a special place in your house that you like to sit with your doll?
Saki and I like to watch TV together :D

49. What are the comments you have heard in regards to your doll, after others have seen it in person?
The usual array between "cool" and "creepy", but one girl told me that Saki was the prettiest doll she'd seen that weekend <3

not yet. maybe never o-o

51. What is the color of your doll(s) eyes now? Also give the size of eyes too.
Ren is wearing Saki's brown glass defaults from Luts (so... 20mm?), Saki is wearing 18mm or 20mm acrylic greens.

52. What is your favorite eye color for your doll(s) and why?
I love Saki's green eyes, though the brown is also nice. Ren i think looks best with the ones he came with, which are 20mm (?) grey with black stripes, or the 22mm Volks metallic beige ones :D in short, all of them XD

53. How often do you change the eyes?
rarely.

54. How many different pairs of eyes do you have for your doll?
just the four, but I'm happy with the colours and the way they look so I haven't felt the need for more :D

55. Do you believe your doll has a "soul"?
as a hunk of resin, no. but the character i have projected on them both is very precious to me.

oh yes.

with a blank stare :P

IN general... they think he's creepy, or ignore him. A few have been interested.

59. What was your favorite childhood doll growing up and why?
I had lots of favourites. My cabbage patch kid, Jem, barbies of various sorts... they were all special and favourited in their own way.

not yet, but I;m getting close.. I need to pay off my debt so I can get K :D

oh god. I hardly spend anything on them, 'cause I realy can't afford anything. Though I just got Ren another wig... Saki needs some jeans.

I try to live my life without regrets.. the biggest test was, that if I hadn't bought Saki, I could have gone to NY to see DespairsRay. (although that's hardly fair, because I had bought him long before I even knew they were coming)

64. Do you like buying clothing sets for your doll?
i don't know?

65. How often do you change your dolls clothing?
as often as they want to, or if i make them something new.

66. If you could take your doll anywhere with you in the world, where would that be?
anywhere I go :D

67. Have you ever done something to your BJD and felt bad about it? (ex. leaving her naked all night, dropping her)
not... really. I nearly hucked my mini across the room in a fit of aggravation, and felt bad that she would have been the victim of rage she didn't deserve.

68. What paint brand do you use on your doll?
so far, Reeve's watercolour pencils and some pastels I got at the art store that burned down last year.

69. If you were stranded on a deserted island with your doll, what 3 things would you want for your doll to have?
shade, Saki would want shorts and a tank, and... a bottle of beer.

70. Does your doll have a girlfriend/boyfriend?
Saki has a boyfriend that doesn't have a resin body yet, and Ren likes to screw around.

none that will ever have bodies...

yes :D Ren will also have nipple and peen piercings, and I might try to pierce Saki's tummy

Nope.

I would like all large dolls to be as posable as Hound/Bermann...

uhh... i dunno :D Ren's getting along really well with angelmecha's Tristan right now, and Saki and Jessen and Kai got along pretty well ;)

oh yes.

Latidoll K, and an Iplehouse body for Ren :D

Saki is about to under-go his third face-up in 10 months. I don't plan on changing Ren's face any time soon as it was bought painted and I like it a lot :D

nothing in particular O_O Ren likes dark red hair though.

they're both pretty laid back. Saki was happiest sitting on the edge of a kiddie pool filled with water.

Saki was the most happy in boxers and a ghetto wife-beater XD

Kinda.. I had a mini first, but once Saki came home... i always liked the 60cm dolls better than minis. Saki got the lion's share of attention, so I sold her.

nope. Ren's head is currently on "display" but like I said, he is bodiless ;)

91. Do you have any brand name clothing for your BJDs?
nope ^^;

Again, I try to live my life without regrets. Dolls are, after all, mere posessions.

Yes :D mostly people I've met through the forums.

yes, though there is mostly mini's, locally XD

nope

i believe so. most of my current thoughts are about how to pay off my debt so that I can get more dolls and more things for them...

probably my cats O_o; If I thought I could get out safely enough, I might grab the dolls.

98. Did you buy a digital camera only because you wanted to take pictures of your SD to show off online?
no, but it is part of the reason I want to get a new camera. The other part is because cell phones now have cameras built into them with the same resolution as my current one x_X
