At turkey dinner with my celiac aunt, she recommended I don't make diet changes, particularly for this potential gluten sensitivity, without my doc's input. Ok fine, I need to see him soon anyway, I will put the brakes on a full switch over. This weekend, I went to a friend's house to celebrate her birthday and we ordered in pizza. Oh why not, pizza is delicious. And it was SO GOOD. But oh my GOD my tummy hurts now. It feels like gas or cramps, I can't tell which. When the gas is relieved, it feels a little better, but the crampy feeling remains and then gets worse as gas builds back up. I know it will pass and that nothing I can do now will help (this has happened before, when I had no idea of cause, and no luck with tums or anything) but OW OW OW.

Looking up symptoms, and this could be a very classic "non-classic" symptom. Another one? Iron deficiency, which I've been taking supplements for since 2016. HMMMMMMMMMM. Just need to confirm with the team that I can take an afternoon, and I will be in his chair so dang fast. This is awful. 0 stars do not recommend.

No sewing, mostly due to aforementioned birthday. The kittens and I napped a lot, I dehydrated rather badly at their house (my own fault, they told me to help myself) so woke up with a migraine. I did pull out some patterns and a fabric, and I was doing a little research though it was harder on my phone, and I have Plans (tm) for getting back to my late-teens' inspired wardrobe. Tricksy with the kittens' "help", but we'll give it a whirl.

I did get the latest section of my large shawl done, which puts me at 65% done. One more major section before I can join the two pieces into one!! So exciting.

I was recently talking with a guy with a gluten allergy. He made changes to his diet and then, when he went to his doc, couldn't get a diagnosis because he didn't meet the threshold because he'd improved because of the dietary changes he'd made. All that to say, I hope you get the medical help that you need, without hassle!
