Usually people need reading glasses when they have to hold things like an arms length away to read things. There are cheap versions of reading glasses online. Here, there are drugstores that have mid priced ones that you can try on. Best bet is to have a box with small print and then try the different levels of glasses until find one that works best (and then buy them online or whatever). The official word, however, is that one should have optometrist check eyes for glasses.
