I did lump on the couch for a bit when I got home, but since dinner was already planned to be a super simple peanut butter and saskatoon jam on toast, it was easy enough to get myself into the kitchen once my show was done. I swept the floor and scooped the cat box, prepared my trash for taking out, did a pan of dishes, and got into my pantry to get another bit of fabric out for the sleeves. After eating, that got pressed to heck so it was like REALLY SMOOTH for cutting. I also but down into the points of the top's neckline and pressed the the heck out of those too. Sleeves cut and prepared for insertion, and I went ahead and attached one just bc I could! I was going to prep the zipper too but it's very pale and heckin' long, so I think I'll raid a fabric store tomorrow for an appropriately sized and coloured one.

Quick try on. It's very cute but I may need to adjust the darts again. I was not wearing a bra so the side dart seemed a little low, and possibly one of the front darts got super wobbly when I marked (and sewed) it. Might be able to take it in a bit, bc right now I do not love how it looks as a stand-alone top through the bust and waist. Also there's really too much interfacing on the neckline, it's rather structural there.

Weekend plans are to visit my friend FINALLY we've only been trying for MONTHS, and my shopping.
