Car ownership is such a pain sometimes. I really like having a car available any time, but ohhh tbe other parts :( i thought id get an oil change before driving some 600 km over the weekend, its been 2 years and a couple thousand over the recommended distance since the last one. So this afternoon i drove out to get one.

Sigh. It turned into that, plus coolant and fuel injection flush, and a cabin air filter, and spark plugs, and it all cost me more than the money I'd had set aside for the trip. I was already dipping down into that fund farther than id like, and wrll, the car needed it so...

Then since i was out i went to get the elastic for the slip. I only needed 1m and it was 89c per, so i bought 5 to avoid putting like 93 cents on my card lol. Amd then i got McDonald's to be all sad about having just dropped a signifcant amount of money on the car.

Still going on the trip. Its not an ideal situation but i can shuffle off my rent payment until next payday (the same day its due). I can't go wild, most of the money was going to gas and food anyway. Being an adult is so expensive.
