Happy to report that my hockey team is on to western conference finals! I had a thought that if Winnipeg wins their series then mala_14 and I will be rivals for approx 10-14 days but then a Canadian team would be in the Stanley Cup for SURE and that would be awesome. Of the six teams still playing, we have played 3 of them, two in finals before. We shall see how the next days play out.

Also happy to report that I have gotten my dishes down to ONE countertop, and the other one I pulled everything off and wiped down last night. What's left is a few big things, but I am so close to finishing them for really reals. Only to make new dishes, but it's fantastic seeing the evidence of deep depression melting away.

Yay clean counter. It's so weird how having things cleaned up increases feeling better, but when depressed just can't seem to get it done.

Right? Like i KNOW cleaning it up will help me feel better, but it's so hard to actually DO it.

If Winnipeg doesn’t win, Dallas will so we can be temporary rivals. I’m not really a hockey fan, but I like the Stars better than any of the other local sports teams.

Me too! Hahaha I almost didn't do any last night but I did a mish-mash of whatever eating dishes were left and like two pots. I have new dish soap that I REALLY don't like, it seems to exhaust itself after a single panful (like if I load the pan with three plates and a handful of cutlery, usually I would be able to go into another two or three panfuls before it became too "dirty" to do more) and it's just not the same. I'll pick up new stuff when I do groceries this weekend.

I would enjoy a temporary hockey rivalry with you :D We kicked your butts last year and we can do it again! ;)

Ah, unfortunately our playoff run ended in the saddest way possible. But now I'm cheering for the Oilers to win the cup! Way to go on the dishes!
