My mum had pinned in darts on the hip gores awhile ago (they have long since unpinned before i could stitch 'em), but there's really not a lot of room to put a dart or anything in anymore O_o; theres MAYBE 2" of gap, and since the rest of the corset is squashing a beer gut down...
plastic tubing won't hold up my skirts ^^;;; it's more the weight and shape of them than anything else. Great for hoops, im sure, (i want to try it!) but not so great for something that's supposed to have a Big Butt of Doom (tm). I think? the lady who made the pattern said that nothing but metal wire will hold it up properly.
