I had WAY too much excitement yesterday morning ;( I was getting ready for work when I heard a scream, and then a crunch. A few minutes later, there were sirens. When I left a few minutes after that, there were 2 ambulances, a rescue truck, and about 5 police cars on the scene, where a man was lying in the road and a white van pulled off to the side. Another ambulance came screaming up the street, a police car blocked off the northbound lanes at my bus stop, another car came down the street later....

Homeless man living in the area hit by the van. he died in the hospital.
