I R CRAFTY LOLI :D

So, the other day, I was flipping through some gosu-rori mooks, and I thought, Hey, it would be really great to have a bonnet to go with my music note jumper :D The one in volume 8 has three pin-tucks on it, just like the tiers of the dress, so how perfect is that?

Well, I can't finish it yet. I need interfacing. BUT, I needed to visualize how it went together, so I cut out the pieces from some crazy south-west themed fabric I got from a friend (which look scary-good together O_o; ), stitched it up, pinned on the proper bows and ribbons, threw on a wig and took some pics to see how it looks :D



Now, please to be keeping in mind that these are without flash and my camera gets really blurry with no flash. Since I have no hair left, the bonnet looked pretty silly. So I'm wearing a $10 halloween wig I purchased YEARS ago that Nicole is going to kill me for ^^; But I did brush the visible parts at least, which improved it 600%. I've decided that I'm going to wear a wig for EVERY loli dress I wear now; not only is it nicer than my real hair (when I still had lots of hair), but it makes it SO MUCH EASIER to wear headdresses!! They tie down under your chin without having to go behind your ears and be all itchy!! Next mission: acquire loli wig!

teehee XD I can't wait to finish it :> it's going to be SO cute.

It looks ok there, but it IS a bad wig ^^; I'd be scared to wear it anywhere because it tangles SO easily. I brushed it out sitting in the living room, walked to the bathroom, and had to brush it again. But it serves my purposes for now, so yay :D

lol, oh dear, now that sounds like a Hallowe'en wig. I still think you should buy a wig from that seller I got my red/copper wig from. They're sooooo cute! *still wants to buy that blue and white one*

That wig is SO cute too X3 I went to cosmates to see if they still had theirs up, and they're all gone! Woe!! I want something sweet and cute and loli-like :D

I think I might have to ask Mom if I can invade her house to do it. After Misque's Dad's last visit we have even LESS room than we did before. Nar, we need to upgrade soon.

I'll have to keep an eye out for some cute loli-ish wigs for you. Just in case a gem pops up somewhere. Any particular colour?

Isn't it amazing how a person (or two) somehow find ways to collect enough stuff to out-fill the space they have available?

I want a brown with bangs and curls XD there's an adorable wig advertised in one of the gosu-rori's that I THINK Cosmates had something similar, but of course its not there now :(

Gawd, I know! and the two kitties and all their stuff doesn't help either. I do hope an affordable 2 bedroom pops up so I can have a kitty free sewing/art room to work in.

Aw, typical. You'll have to let me know if you find anything. Since my hair is so short now i can't do a lot of more elegant looks without a wig.

Oh I hear you. I think the townhouse has a basement, and it will be KITTY FREE 'cause that's where all the sewing stuff is going to be.

Oh gawd yes, you need longer hair for Victorian stuffs too. Once I put some money onto my Visa there's this cute lacy top I want to go with my bustle skirt! It's sooooo adorable!
