totchipandaI was watching Bones today and a guy in it had a pair of tattoos on his chest that looked really neat. So I tried to see how it would look on Ren...
Thoughts? Maybe not those two specifically buuuut the placement/style, etc...
In other news, IT'S FUCKING HOT!!!!! Temperature reached 32C, but the humidex was 37. As a sign so helpfully told me on the Yellowhead, 31C = 87F, so now all you lovely americans can appreciate the exact temperature with me. NOT IMPRESSED AM I. NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL.
My computer fan is making funny noises. I'll go rescue a can of air from dad and blow it out tomorrow.
I cleaned off my table so I could get started on laying out fabric... I'll have to point the fan in my direction so I can do it without dying. I reaaaaaaaaaaaaally hope it's not this hot in August, 'cause I won't wear a red velvet suit no matter how sexy it turns out.
Allan and I headed over to our new place today so I could sign the lease, Allan paid the rent+pet deposit (which I will be paying him back for, of course! They're my pets, after all.) and we got our keys :D And walked through the place doing an inspection on the state of the place when we took over. It has SUCH a tiny kitchen D: I don't know what we're going to do with my table, 'cause its a damn big table. And the cupboards, there's practically no room for them! We're going to have have shelves downstairs for some of the kitchen stuff, it's nuts. But the basement is big, which is where we're going to have the sewing room, a couch and TV for the game systems, and I know I'll be living down there when it's 31C outside.
I also dropped about $40 on Transformers toys... I have a plush Bumblebee (classic!), and three small toys from the movie XD Bumblebee, Barricade and Jazz. I haven't had Transformers in years, I'm having so much fun with them. The first two I got yesterday, so Tara and I drove them all over the inside of Jimmy's new Chevy Cobalt XD We're so geeky.
ETA: Thunder!! It wasn't supposed to rain or anything, and I don't think this is going to change the heatwave that's supposed to be around for the next few days...

Date: 2007-07-14 02:53 pm (UTC)...My friend used to live in Florida. She said that she always knew which ones were the Canadians in winter, 'cause she'd be freezing, and the Canucks were wearing shorts and sandals ^^;
On the other side, it'll be -10C and it'll be after a -32 spell, and we'll think it's practically tropical, and many southerners will be all "omg so cold!"
I think the same thing XD I couldn't get the one on the left to mirror on the right. Congrats Ren, find a reason to get matching tatts on your moobs.

He does state, however, that one can never go wrong with an Optimus Prime, though he went into a detailed diatribe as to which of the four or five currently available models were superior, and I really couldn't follow. ^^;
