(no subject)

New dance term has started :D I'm learning a sword piece in tribal fusion (SO EXCITED to balance a sword on my head you have no idea) and a cane/Saidi piece in raqs sharki, which I am also excited about. The only "prop" I've done so far is zills, and that was a number I pretty much taught to myself for a festival last year. We start both props next week. Today my RS teacher had us reviewing stuff we already knew, and then she had told us that she wasn't going to make us jump around today, but she lied XD We jumped around for what felt like 15 minutes (but was probably only half that). I am SO HAPPY to be back in class, and especially on Saturdays. Moments like this make me so glad I quit retail and am able to fit this into my life more easily. Bliss!

Then I went grocery shopping. I hadn't planned on buying cat litter, but I did, and then I had to carry it two blocks on super icy-covered-in-water sidewalks and not-sidewalks (hi lumpy icy snow on the side of the road where it's safer to walk in the street because there's no snow or ice there) to where I parked. Eep. I'm being nice to myself now, cuddling the cat, deciding how I want to spend the rest of my day and what to have for lunch. Happy. :)
