Stove Saga
Jun. 3rd, 2021 09:50 amLast night we went to a couple stores to look at stoves, and purchased one (with the homeowner's blessing and credit card). There were a couple options that we liked, but nothing was in stock and we have to wait no matter what. So we picked the one Roomie M found on Sunday night!
We were told to pick one that was not ultra cheap but not expensive either, in a similar style and colour to the one we currently have. The one we chose was about $1k, with the 5 burner flat-top and stainless steel face like our current one. The oven has an Air Fry option! It has wi-fi and is voice-activated! I have named it Jessica. Since nothing was in stock, they were expecting it early next week, and the first day we could have anyone home to accept a delivery was next Friday. So hopefully just over a week. We have already discussed how to manage food options without a working stove for that length of time.
Luckily this saga should not be as long and drawn out as the printer one. Stay tuned for the non-exciting conclusion (next week).
