Rain drops keep falling on my head...
Jul. 19th, 2022 10:49 amRoomie is headed back to urgent care. His chest pain has moved into his arm and become bad enough again to prevent him from sleeping.
On Saturday I "hosted" a "picnic" but of all the people who said they could come, only one person showed up. WE had a nice time tho, chatting and a bit of crafting. It was quite warm too, and a little humid, not too bad in the shade. It was fun until a daddy long legs crawled down my stays and I smashed it into my boobs. Thankfully that was close to the time we would be wrapping up, so I ended up stripping out of my outfit (purposely chosen for underlayers that would allow me to run some errands on the way home). Then I went to the fabric store for the first time in... probably 4 years to get horsehair canvas (only 4% actual horsehair though lol), and then I got some silk thread, a faux fur pompom for a hat I want to make, and some "corded twill tape" with the package showing it for pajama pants drawstring.
I was too hot and thirsty and hungry to go anywhere else, so I got home and my roommate was packing up our bottles to take in, and offered if I wanted to go anywhere? I ran inside to change and do some quick things like grab a snack and a drink, and then after the bottles we went to the mall, where I got a new phone! My old one was over 3 years old and at a point where I was charging it 2x per day. Bit more shopping to deal with the panic induced by finding an impostor spider in my shirt.
Sunday was kind of lazy, watching Peaky Blinders with my fandom friends, working a lil on the commission I need to finish up PDQ. Once its done I can go back to my regular bullshit lol.
Other roomie returns home this week. I miss her.
