Felt so unrested, apparently, that my brain said NO to the alarm and I woke up at 6 am, and then again at 7:18. Where I had to be at work in 12 minutes. Whoops.

Thursday evening: Thought I would run to the store for a few things when I finished a movie but then remembered that I had a writing event starting soon so I did not. I suffered for this later, as I was out of coffee cream. Finished reading my book.

Friday: Woke up several times to deal with uterine shenanigans, and each time was characterized by being absolutely DRENCHED. It's awful having to get back into a swampy bed at 330 am bc where the heck else could I go?? Woke up to actual wet spots in my sheets from how much moisture I was expelling. Laundry. Made coffee with a couple spoonfuls of hot chocolate mix to cut the acidity. Stitched one side front of the Cassandra stays and boned it before heading to my aunt's place for dinner. Got the sleeves of the sweater separated and finished up the first ball of yarn. Got home around 9 and watched both Drag Race and UK vs the World.

Saturday: Woke up at dark o'clock with a dehydration migraine. Showered. Stitched side fronts of the stays and declined to bone them as my fingies were still sore from the day before. Went to the zoo with M, dropped her off and then headed to aunt's birthday party. Just after 6 I was done and departed. Stopped to get coffee cream at last and once I got home, I had two cups of decaf. Boned the panel and played video games.

Sunday: Washed my hair. Stitched and boned the side panels of the stays before heading out to see Hairspray. After the show, M and I drove out to our friends' house for dinner, where there were quite a few more people than we expected. Came home with some fabric I raided from the basement hehe.

It was all a lot. Coming off the really emotional week, we added on my gramma being in the hospital. She's going in for surgery today to repair a hernia. She's 93.5 years old and they're apparently going to do it under spinal tap rather than anaesthisia. I'm really scared and I feel so guilty that I haven't even called her in months let alone gone to visit.
