too far in the other direction
Apr. 2nd, 2024 10:19 amIn hopes of not sleeping in again, my brain decided to wake me up early. But 3 am early, not any other sort of early. So in total I got maybe 3 hours and not all at once. I'm tired yo.
Tumblr's April 1st gag was allowing people to boop each other, complete with cartoon paws moving across the screen. Spent a good hour and a half booping people on Tumblr before saying NO MORE (I wanted to get the second badge of booping 314 times, but the third badge of at least 1000 was more time than I wanted to spend on it), had dinner (as![[personal profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/silk/identity/user.png)
danabren would say, shark coochie) and then sat down to finish as much of the stays as I could.
I did good, I think. Finished the side-back panels (was running out of thread so I changed to a different coloured bobbin partway through the second one). The machine had a fit and dragged the thread under and tangled it LOUDLY. I swear something flew out at me but everything appeared to be intact. I changed the needle and rethreaded it anyway. After boning that one and using the mysterious extra bone that was in my original panel to get the one I couldn't fit into the side-front panels, I prepared the back panels. Pressed the facing over, cut the extra interlinings away so that eyelets were less painful for me, stitched the channels. Sat down at made two whole eyelets wooooo. But it was already 9:30 pm by then and we know nothing good happens after 10, so I put it away. I plan to work on them tonight, which might be the only thing I'm capable of doing brain-wise.
I took a chicken breast out of the fridge last night and it was a "expiring today!" special so I have to cook it. I was planning tacos, hopefully I am trustworthy with a knife to do that lol.
