Got all my interfacing attached and started sewing, up to the point of where I needed to attach snaps. Amazon hadn't delivered yet and it was about 6:30, so I decided to make dinner and eat before continuing. One bucket of dishes, some fried mushrooms and marinara, and GF macaroni later, my package was at the door!
Immediately busted into the snap press and it was ridiculously easy! One was put in too high, and one was too low, but whatever! Then I put the panels together, topstitched and called it a night. The bit of batting i thought might be fusible fleece is not, it is quilt batting. The batting I ordered should be here Friday, so I might just wait to put it all together until then, but there's still things I can do to keep the progress going. And there's always other bags I can make if I really want to keep sewing.
And of course, stays are always an option ;)
