(no subject)

I take the "not too bad" back, it's horrible awful no good very bad hot. Managed an OK sleep Tuesday night and was decently comfortable as long as I stayed pretty still, but last night was just not working for me. I laid in bed all evening because it was the easiest way to get flat and starfish out. Napped first because I'd woken up at 330, but then got up to do a pan of dishes and intended to make dinner, but I was already hot and was feeling vaguely ill, so laid down again. Finally at 8-something I said OK, let's do this, and got up to make tacos. The most work involved was chopping cabbages for slaw, and cooking the tortillas. They were delicious and I cooked extra tortillas for lunch today. It was just too hot to get under covers, so I pressed my feet into the body pillow at the foot of the bed which tricked my brain into thinking they were covered and I fell asleep.

Today the complex is doing a fire alarm inspection, including the one in my apartment. I secured the kittens and left a note asking the humans to pop the door when they are done so that they can run free.

Obviously nothing is happening right now. It's just too hot. But my plans are:

Friday:
Cat litter
Costco - A FAN (choirs of angels sing), lemon drinks, some snackies, dairy products, gas.

Saturday:
Maybe airport
Yarn store
Reunion with my dance friends

Sunday:
Pancake

Somewhere in here, read 2 library books bc they are due on Monday and all told I've had them out since *February*. This is ridiculous.
