OK Flist, your opinions are needed for the following questions XD

1: My roomie and I want to go to Sephora soonish. What would anyone recommend we look at for SURE? In particular, I want a nice red lippy, and some black eyeshadow would not go amiss (since mine has mysteriously vanished in the move)

2: Any lolis here who've ordered WINTER COATS from Fanplusfriend, how do they stand up to winter? My winters average around -20C to -40C for a good four months at a time, so I'd like something that's not going to leave me looking like a frozen cupcake on a stick XD

In other news, we went to Value Village yesterday and I got some pants that will work wonderfully with my Babylon 5 uniform that I haven't worn in 11 years (yes, you read that right; I made it when I was 16), and a cute pair of boots with real rabbit fur on top of them for $7. O YEA.

Look at Nars for both of those. They make great red lippy, and several different varieties of black eyeshadow. Also Make Up For Ever, if they have it. Benefit used to make the BEST red lippy ever, but they discontinued that whole line and it makes me sadface.

I've got a cashmere coat from F+F, and the coldest I've worn it in is maybe -10 or 12C, in high winds. If you wear your thermals (and in winter weather like that, I'd expect you to :P!) and aren't just standing around doing nothing, it's fairly warm. There's a biiiig difference between -10 and -40 though. We sometimes get really low temperatures here at night, but it's really exceptional.

I don't expect I'll be going outside much at all if it's -40 (which is rather unusual around here, but it happens), but the rest of it sounds about what I'd expect from any wool coat. Thanks :D
