ALso, Flist, I has a VERY VERY VERY important question for you.
If I was to go to Japan in the near future, what could I reasonably expect to spend on food? (eta: let's add in a stipulation of per day. Just a round-about figure. I need to eat fairly regularily and stay hydrated or I get killer migraines.)

Date: 2008-02-20 04:06 am (UTC)Food... depends on what you're eating? From conbini and the little mom-pop vending machine restaurants it's entirely possible to do it on $20 a day, but I'd probably budget at least 30 to cover more expensive restaurants, extra drinks throughout the day, etc etc.

Date: 2008-02-20 04:45 am (UTC)I imagine I'd just be eating whatever can be grabbed when one is hungry... I do worry a bit 'cause I need to eat pretty decently in order to keep from falling over O-o;

Date: 2008-02-20 05:28 am (UTC)It's not difficult to eat over there, or at least I didn't think so. Conbini's sell tonnes of real food like noodle dishes and omuraisu and onegiri and so forth and they'll even nuke it for you there :D Though I have heard that Japanese women tend to be plagued by constipation from eating too much rice... ^^;;;
