Today's lesson is: Assuming makes an ASS out of yoU and ME.

The short version: because I just assumed, I wound up spending two and a half hours at the bank today and in the end was not able to pay my full rent. I have begged and pleaded to borrow enough money to cover it.

Had I known this last week, I could have had this taken care of before it became an issue.

The good part? I seriously have the bestest friends and family in the entire world. I owe lots of people some serious favours. Possibly in the form of rainbow-icing cupcakes.

But those two and a half hours were very stressful, I cried a lot, right up to 5pm, and I still have a headache, a super-stuffy nose, and my tummy is queasy. So, cupcake-making favours will have to wait until tomorrow.
