We were outside last night, just chillin, when there was a knock upon my door. Oops, I thought, are we being too loud, and someone is coming to tell us to knock it off?

Nope. It was a couple guys. Hi, he said, we got a call about water coming in downstairs. Can we come in and check?

Sure thing! I still have water coming in my bathroom too! :D

(The big bubble continued to drip even after it was popped, and the one over the bathtub had two spots dripping still.)

So now I have holes in my ceiling and a mess to clean up, but no more dripping!

And we weren't being too loud, but the timing was such that the guys came, everyone was starting to pull things in from outside, and then another HUGE MOFO WIND KICKED UP. Mae and Uncle Wes ran off to check on their open windows at their place (like 5 blocks away) and we played Dokapon Kingdom for a bit before the boys left and I went to bed.

I might have picked a new project for some of this linen I have kicking around, but I apparently didn't put all of the pattern pieces away when I made it the first time, so now there's two of the ones I need missing, and all the extras are gone too. I first made it over 4 years ago, I'm not sure where the loose pieces might even BE D:

Mum was over yesterday, too, and we started work on some Regency-era things :) I like the idea of the short-stays, and at Renovation in 2011, there will most likely be a Regency ball which would be fun to attend :D Now I kinda want to watch Pride & Prejudice today. I think I will.
