totchipandaUhmm... so it's been nearly 3 weeks since I last posted... Am not dead lol. The condensed version of the last few weeks has been: Pretty corset was purchased, long weekend was had (and have a story about that), and Prince of Persia has been seen 3 times in the last 9 days. The last viewing was preceded by the bus I was on going to the theatre had an altercation with an SUV at an intersection O_o We were travelling relatively slowly, having stopped at the light before turning the corner, so no one on the bus was hurt, but the SUV was not so fortunate.
In other news, Prince of Persia was awesome, I want to see it at least 2 more times :D I've never played the games, only watched my brother play for about 20 minutes once, but I enjoyed it immensely. This may partly because the costumes and the people filling them out were really pretty. (Can't opine on the faithfulness of the adaptation, but oh, the costumes were pretty! Dastan's armour and the more casual outfits he spends most of the movie in were very recognizable to this gal who's only seen the case covers. Tamina's outfits were mostly Turkish in origin, I think, though a far cry from "historically accurate" but since this is based on a fantasy video game, we're not looking for historical accuracy, are we XD PRETTY COSTUMES WERE PRETTY.)
