Legend of Korra

So, Avatar: The Legend of Korra started airing.
My brother has definitely gotten me hooked on HD, to the point that I WILL wait a few hours extra for an HD version of Korra to be available. This is especially true after Ep 6 aired. He watched it three times while I was at work, and then came downstairs to watch it with me again. I "discovered" my (HD) laptop has an HDMI port, so I raided the cable from the PS3 to hook it up to the (HD) TV. We also hooked up a stereo to get SUPER SOUND, and it is now our preferred method of watching Korra.
Blah blah blah specs blah. LOK starts 80 years after the end of A:TLA with a new Avatar, a headstrong waterbender named Korra (who is so badass she could also bend fire and earth at age 4 :D). You probably already know this XD We have determined that both Tenzin and Chief Bei Fong win at EVERYTHING FOR ALL TIME. My brother and I have long conversations speculating on Amon's identity and other things. I'm completely stuck on mixed bending families. Two characters are brothers and they are fire and earth benders. I'm pretty sure Word of God would say that their parents were each a fire and an earth bender, but I keep focusing on that bending had to start SOMEWHERE, and not in families that were already benders. I'm totally obsessed with non-bender parents producing not one bender but two, and of two different elements at that. I even want to write fic about it, if I could just pick somewhere to start.
Korra is awesome, and you should totally watch it.
