How's it going LJ? I am on my third plague of the year (already! And it's the second one this week, too.) so I have been spending my free time pretty much lying around and doing jack shit cuz I don't have the energy or brain capacity for much else.

But I have a story for you. Last week we went to my ex's birthday party, to a local karaoke joint that we love. I never get to go nearly as often as I'd like cuz it's waaaaaaaaay on the south side in an industrial/commercial area that has terrible bus service in the "off" hours and it's mostly open laaate. We were there for several hours, and one of the highlights of the night was two of my friends deciding to sing Enrique Iglesias' Hero as Batman and Arnold Schwarzenegger. I laughed so hard I got a stitch in my side.

I was also highly entertained by the background videos. We had one TV up in the corner showing lyrics, and the other one running Korean pop videos on silent. After watching one highly silly one, I started trying to take notes on some of the more memorable ones to look up on Youtube later. After we got home, at nearly 2 am, I stayed up a bit longer to wait with Dzi for her cab which came much sooner than expected, but I just kept watching...

Now I'm totally obsessed with all of the adorable boys from U-KISS. Their songs are really nothing special, your average boyband pop music, but I absolutely love it. LOVE IT. Like I literally spent 4 hours today doing nothing but that, watching their videos on Youtube.
