My dear friend Katie came over on Thursday to help me learn how to drive a standard car, and today I took my car out on main roads to my dad's house so I could feed his kitties. Only one person honked at me when I took too long (according to them) at a light to get going, but whatevs. I also haven't stalled it in two days :D Still need to work on stopping and starting smoothly, and making sure I get into the gear I want (somehow ended up in 4th when I wanted 2nd), but for how scary a standard seemed before I drove one, it's really not that bad!
