Nicole had a sale today, and among other things, one of my costumes and a couple loli things sold. Woohoo! So I totally used part of the proceeds to buy a pattern (that's how it works, right?) I have Plans for that pattern, and I've been wanting to make something like it for well over a year, can't wait to get started!

But we also had the sale on a very uneven driveway, which I managed to "fall" off of and I hit the ground. My ankles have been sprained so many times, I have lost count, though I believe the right is more prone to it than the left, and it's been almost 10 years since the last time, but I was a little concerned that I had done damage to it. And this was early in the day, when I needed to be at a festival to perform like 2 hours later.

It seems to be OK though. I danced with no problems (the 80 F sun and south-facing black-top stage was a completely different story, naturally) and have not had any indication that I actually twisted it instead of just tipping over. We'll see how it feels tomorrow!

I somehow managed to drop 3 stitches from my pineapple. It was on like, the second or third row of yellow, so I think I can stitch up the hole it created, and it happened in a spot where the unravelling didn't go very far, only through the yellow part really since there was a knitted row after the patterned green. I just created new stitches instead of trying to pick them back up somehow. Braining has been very hard today.

(That super-hot stage and dancing upon it? My face was DRIPPING sweat, pouring off of it in actual little drips. I washed my hair this morning and I have to wash it again. I definitely had a heat-induced migraine, since our sets were so close together, literally one song separating them where we had to do complete costume changes, there was no time to drink until after. Tomorrow is supposed to be a much more reasonable 60 F)

You didn't dance like you sprained anything, though maybe that's why you did everything opposite? Subconsciously protecting it?

Possibly, esp if I was putting more effort into Salam (which was very bouncy in comparison). I also wrapped it that night just in case, and I still turned the wrong way the next day lol.
