I had plans to do ALL the things tonight. Take pictures of my stays! Pull out my fabric and start working on next month's challenge! Knit!
The migraine changed them all. Alas.
I can still knit at least. I need to start my sleeves if I want to have this wearable before next Friday! On the other hand, if I can't get them done, at least it's wearable as a vest at the moment.
I've been training downtown this week just in case the site needs coverage while my company looks for a replacement floater. It's been interesting! I'm learning lots about the insurance industry and I don't really have anything to do with it at the same time lol. I'm also taking the bus, because no way I want to drive and pay weekday downtown parking rates. The bus goes in front of my house and drops me off at the office's doorstep, so it makes way more sense. Today the office had a "staff spirit olympics" and everyone was on teams and we competed in four events. One person on our team was out sick, so even though the lady training me and I aren't really employees of the company, they asked the other team members and we were invited to participate with them. It was really nice :)
Right now I'm making pizza because Wednesday is apparently "eat really greasy food" day and even though I have nothing to top a pizza with besides cheese, it's sooooooooooooo much cheaper and easier to make it myself. Other bonuses: don't have to put on pants, don't have to talk to people, don't have to spend extra money, used up most of the flour Grampa had in his pantry from some inexplicable reason when my Gramma has been on a gluten-free diet for 15 years. Win all around.
