totchipandaIn between baking a cake and making custard and doing 99% of my dishes*, I cut out (and recut the lining) the vest, machined the lining together, hand stitched the back and shoulder straps on, and then pinned the outside hem in prep for stitching. The outside took like, over an hour D: I stabbed a pin through my thumb hard and shallow enough to rip a small (1/8"?) section into my skin. It bled a bit and it's pretty tender this morning :(
I don't really want to be awake right now but I pinged wide awake at 7:15, confused about what day it was, and now I'm awaaaake.
*would have been 100% but one ceramic dish had been sitting over the oven vent while the cakes baked and it seemed like a bad idea to stick it in cooler water.
