I was going to see a friend today, but we had to reschedule. So I spent the day sewing instead. I futzed around in the morning patterning and mocking up a sleeve (it looks fabulous!!) and took a nap. After lunch I was faced with a multitude of similar choices and just had to pick one and work on it. Ack!

Inner bodice of the redingote?
Buttons? A bazillion buttons?
Sleeve fluffles on the sacque?
Start the 1830s gown?

It was hard to get started. I chose "iron linen", which led to "cut lining and inner bodice", then to "cut 1830s gown" and "make piping" and finally "apply to backs and sew". Yaaasss productivity!

Then it was time to go play an RPG, which was cut short cuz our GM was overtired from insomnia. I went to get cat litter cuz i was out already... Am now home with the magpie convention happening on the lawn.

Just a couple weeks left!
