totchipandaOn Sunday i got the redingote 100% done. Yahoo! Then i did some small projects, like adding ties to the pocket hoops. I think i did some other small thing too, but i dont remember what. Then i took my cat to my friend's house, since her landlady graciously agreed that he could stay for the week. Gawd i miss him. I miss him greeting mw at the door and being underfoot and even laying on my projects as i try to work on them.
Tonight i made 2 pairs of stockings and new sleeves for my Italian gown. One sleeve got trimmed ans it took 4 tries but i got it rotated in the armhole properly. Im SO happy with it. The old sleeve was not bad, but not the right one for that dress. I plan to make a little jacket with some of the leftover fabric, hopefully the sleeves will fit into that.
Tomorrow i plan to tidy up my place, do the dishes, pack, cut at least one more cap, and then hopefully set the sleeve. I also need to plan when exactly we need to be on the road. I expect I'll be up quite late. Aiiieee!! Soooooon!!!
