NaNoWriMo has started so I am spending a lot of my free time writing, Last week I went to a friend's place for an evening of sewing and tea, and it was lovely :3 I just found the cookies that I brought home in my cupboard, that was very exciting.

It's been snowing for the past couple of days. We had a light dusting last week, just enough to stick, a few nice days, and then on Thursday night it started to rain, which then became snow on Friday, and we now have a good 4".

I'm also pretty sure someone came into my apartment without warning. At the end of winter last year I noticed that my window didnt close fully, it gapped at the top while the bottom was firmly seated in the frame. It was doing it again this winter, but a few days ago I thought... it's just not like it was even a couple days ago. Warmer, and the road noise outside was quiet. Sure enough, the window is fully seated in the frame. I'm not about to try to upper lock to see if its latched, the gapping part is too high over my head for me to able to fix it if the lock is holding it in place. But I also feel a little weird that someone likely came in without my knowledge or permission.

I stopped coughing a few weeks ago, and I even made it through a whole dance class with only my knees yelling at me, which is great! It's time to get my apartment tidying back on track, though its going to be slow progress while I first novel, and then do holiday work. I'm taking the last week of November off for stay-cation, so hopefully I can get some housework done then.

Could the window gap be seasonal like when doors warp in the heat or swell with temperature change?

Finding cookies is exciting.
