I was supposed to be off this week, but STUFF. My boss was off last week for non-COVID related illness (though she did get tested, it was also negative), and asked me to come in today just to make sure we had enough people on site. And good thing I was already on my way in, because both of my coworkers called in sick with presumed head colds today (one for sure is going in for a test), leaving just me and my other coworker to hold down the fort. My grandboss came in for a few hours, and thank goodness we had a quiet day. Hopefully tomorrow goes smoother!

Operation: Tons of Fiction is proceeding apace. I like to take this last week of November off to have more time to work on it, but thank goodness I kept up with the daily targets, because now I don't know when I will be off! I have 10 days to use up before the end of the year. I may be deferring a couple of them into next year, we shall see.

On the weekend, I spent some time sewing, putting buttonholes AND buttons on my shirtwaist. Then, because I want to film a series on the pattern drafting I did for this project, I opted to draft a new pattern following the book I intend to use. I like it a lot better. I need to redraft it a bit longer through the length though, right now it's far too tight under my arm, and it's a bit short at the waist. Hopefully I can figure that out while I'm off.

Other "when Im not writing a novel" project - get my books inside the house so I can start parking in the garage. And also unpack my books.
