Almost there
Nov. 28th, 2020 01:49 pmNaNoWriMo is over in just a few days! How does this happen every year?
My coworkers COVID tests all came back negative, so we are going to be stronger, staff-wise, next week. I've booked off the last two weeks of December, which leaves me only a couple days left. I'll see if I can carry them over and use them in January, or perhaps book a couple more days next month lol.
Once I'm done writing, I will have more time to focus on other stuff. Right now I feel like I'm focusing too much on shirtwaists as a way of avoiding working on the next steps. I cut out a dress from some silk noil and it's been sitting with pin-basting ever since. I took the pins out last week, but it's still the logical next step. I really need to kick my brain over into the rest of the project. I can explore the adventures of fitting a commercial shirtwaist pattern later down the line.
