Printer Purgatory Day... 19?

It prints a little, I got some sheets off this morning OK, but for the most part it jams as soon as it pulls any amount of paper with more than a dusting's worth of toner into the fuser. No word on ETA for a new one.

IN FUN NEWS!!! I finished sewing the Amalia jacket last night. Like FINISHED finished! It took most of the day to baste and hem it, not helped at all by pesky things like naps, making and eating dinner, and the cat who insisted on sleeping in my lap on top of it. It's doooonneeee wooooo! I put a terrible laid-out photo on Instagram, tonight I will take horrible dress form photos and then hopefully I will find the energy to put it on myself.

In less fun news: Its February, which means my velociraptors are gonna come chew on my brain soon. As soon as this weekend. Can't wait!

5 or 6 years ago, when I knew I was depressed but not anxious, and had figured out that I always get EXTRA SAD in February, I labelled all of those weird emotions as velociraptors. They're smart and they learn and they test the fences and they're in the goddamn kitchen, Phil! You know, just running around and chewing on all of the bits of my brain just for funsies and making me extra depressed.

Anxiety is more like Rex from Toy Story, clumsily stomping around on everything and "Oh great, now I have guilt!"

I'm happier now that I'm medicated but February is still hard :(
