Seeds: started. Late. Very late. Like this past Saturday late lol. I've put the tray under the skylight to get some daylight on them, plus it's warmer upstairs. Thought I might put them outside during the day to really benefit from the sun. Then the weather decided to have a little fun and it was below freezing and snowing at the start of this week. I'm expecting very little from them, but it was nice to play with a bit of dirt.
Sewing: started an Edwardian shirtwaist from the Black Snail pattern. I stitched it mostly together, but I think I need to significantly cut back the shoulders, as they hang very far down my arm. I likely will not be going to the thing it was planned for which is in less than 2 weeks. I HAVE been enjoying sewing though, so the effort is not a complete waste.
Work: covering for my workwife while she was visiting family. It was nice to stretch those muscles again. She's back tomorrow and I'm very glad.
Home: I was looking for something in the garage for my friend and concluded that 75% of the storage in there is mine. So when it's a little nicer out, I plan to move my car off the pad and open the garage door and just have at 'er. Most of my books have been in storage since I moved in 2013, and now they have been exposed to asbestos flying around, so I may just take an inventory of anything I want to replace and throw out the rest. I didn't realize how badly they would have been affected, as some of the books that are already out have been making my lips itchy and burny when I look at them. They are not easily replaced, so I will make a list of those too. Some of them will be nearly impossible to find again, but many of those are also not looked at very frequently.
My friend who lived here before also wants to come and finish collecting her things, so that will be a good time to do it as well.
Sewing room reno is still paused as I need help moving the table. i should ask my roomies to help me, it'll take all of a minute.
Roomies are trading off time who is going back to the east coast for family visits. Roomie J is there right now, and Roomie M will be going once her mom's surgery is complete and she's at home recovering. Whenever that is, it's been cancelled for next week, and hasn't been rescheduled yet.
