This may vary quite a bit across the country, but in my city specifically (where I have lived all of my adult non-family-home life) places are either pet friendly or they aren't, and if they are there is usually a fee involved. One time of $250 per animal is not unusual, nor is $25/month (most common, I saw one place charging $50/mo). The last time I chose to move, finding a pet-friendly place to move cut my choices to a third of what they were without, but I wasn't giving up Guido! I don't have the kittens YET but pet-friendly is a must, and hopefully without too much of a fee.
