Did not end up sewing anything, primarily because I needed to iron things and I did not feel like setting up the iron. I should get one of the little ones that go with the Cricut, I've been seeing other makers on Youtube use one for small seams, it would be perfect.

But I did empty 2 boxes. Sewing things got put onto the cart with the intention of it being mobile since I don't have a dedicated table. The one antique machine got put into the cabinet where it's been intended to live since I bought it nearly 4 years ago, placed inside, and one of the mobile antiques is now on top. That is 8 out of 9 sorted, and the last one will go on the sewing desk in my room when I finally removed the boxes from around it.

Went to the corn maze with former roomies, which was fun! It was really smoky (boooo), and warm, the corn was still nice and tall and green, and we didn't really get lost this time. Turns out, we said, the best way to walk the maze was just to walk it and not think about it too much. It was also very crowded (because a warm saturday in september = enjoy the weather while we can!) and there were some... interesting people on the trails. (The three of us are all various flavours of 2SLGBTQIA+ so at one point we asked ourselves "are the straights ok?" and then made up stories about why someone wore a mini dress and heels to walk a corn maze.) After we went for pancakes at Denny's and since we were out, went to the mall where I did not intend to buy anything but came out with a Dia de los Muertos scorpion Squishmallow, and then we went home.

Yesterday I tried to knit a bit, but the kittens were a little more interested in the yarn so I didn't get super far. Later, just as I was making dinner, some out-of-town friends messaged that they were out to eat and would love for me to join them. I covered everything and went hehe. I went to the location that we usually go to, except they weren't at that one and so it took a little longer to get out to them. But we had a nice short visit and it was good to see them. I would have been sadder had I decided not to make the trip than I was about driving all around.

All in all, a lovely weekend :3

THE LITTLE CLAWS!! I didn't even notice the tail until we were 10 minutes out of the mall and driving away, I thought it was a crab. I still love her with my whole heart. I regret NOTHING.

Miniskirt and heels would definitely be one of the first to go when the children of the corn come out. Story - Eva’s date said that he was taking her some place fun. Jason was sooo cute! So, she put on her little mini and FM heels. She was not expecting corn. Like corn and more corn. Eva thought, “He better buy me some kettle corn.”

Jason did not in fact plan to buy some kettle corn, but after the horrors of the field, he decided he needed a little treat. But he didn't realize that soylent green is people...

Hahaha! This reminds me of years ago traveling with my aunt and cousins and we would start a story and then each person would continue it. Holly would always add a love interest and Dina would always kill off characters.
