I am so tired. I woke up at 3-something I think because of an anxiety spike (it is time to make a baby, you see) but then fully woke and stayed awake because my neighbours were moving around in their space until 4:30. WTF are you doing up there?? So I had a little doze at 5 am and then dreamed it was Monday and I was super duper late and also still at the townhouse. Then I got dressed according to how I've been feeling the past couple days and it was all the wrong choice and everything is Touching Me (tm). I just want to go back to bed.

Did not unpack any more boxes but did clean up a couple things that had been left in the hall. Located 2 out of 4 sparkle balls for the kittens, bringing their total up to 3. I have no idea where the purple one is.

I spoke way too soon about knitting. Sophie is VERY INTERESTED in the yarn TYVM. I have had to repair a shawl I foolishly left out, and any time I bring my project out she is UP IN THAT BUSINESS YO. She discovered the yarns I had placed on an upper shelf, and last night took some out of a box and strew them around the kitchen. Alas! I will have to be careful and redirect her from the yarny goodness.

I made some curled i-cord for my hairy assholes and it distracts them when I knit. YMMV of course.

I did get to knit last night while they were otherwise occupied with the recently unearthed sparkle balls, but Sophie did attempt to play with my project once lol. I think I should curl up some pipe cleaners for them to play with too.

STRAWS MOM STRAWS AND COFFEE STIRRERS

Guido got lots of plastic straws to play with when he was a kitten, and a part of me thinks that these kittens need them too? But Sophie was chewing at my hard plastic straw last night, so perhaps just something that bounces and can be nommed is fine. I will hit up a dollar store soon and pick some up.

When I was still leaving the house for coffee I'd grab extra stirrers just because they were always a favorite and therefore immediately lost.
