Sick :(

It's been building for most of a week, waking up with soreness in my throat and a stuffy nose. Could be just allergies still? It was so warm while I was off so I had the windows open, but it was also windy, which means all the dead grass and who knows whatever else was being forced directly into my sinuses. Anyway, it finally came to a head this week and I went home from work yesterday to spend the entire day in bed with the kittens, napping and playing video games.

Still don't feel great today, but one of the main tasks of my position was due and it was a tricky one due to some changes that happened last week, so it was really important for it to be done on time and precisely.

Because I wasn't feeling well Wednesday night either, I have done nothing re: stays. I think I want to try it on again with a shift, and I'm debating finishing the back edges properly to truly assess fit. I just really don't want to set a bunch of grommets if I don't have to lol.

This weekend is busy because everyone has their birthdays. Taking my sibling out for lunch ahead of their birthday on Monday, and Roomie M and I have plans for her birthday on Sunday. That's a bunch of my free time, gone.

I used safety pins to replace eyelet holes while testing my regency stays. Not the most successful, but they worked well enough. I think the secret is using the smaller sizes instead of larger ones.

They ain't great, but they work better than putting in all of the goddamn eyeholes.
