Almost no sooner did I say "Amazon hasn't shipped the fan yet" than Amazon shipped the fan lol. It's expected today! I'm not 100% sure yet how I'll get it home, but I will wait to see what it looks like before deciding. Naturally it arrives just as the temperature is expected to stop being so gosh danged hot.

Figured out the bit I needed for the next part of the chicken, so I plan to work on that tonight while supporting my friend! The library has an event on and she's doing a reading, and she asked if I would go. So I will! If nothing else, prime knitting time without little paws. (who found a ball of acrylic yarn in the night and strew it about the floor and even into bed with me)

Re-signed the lease yesterday, so now I am going to put up some things on the walls, like curtain rods and a shelf. I was on the company's website as I was on the train as I wanted to see if their office hours were listed. They were not, but I did see that my apartment type is now listed for $100 more than what my increased rent will be in September. Eep. Right decision to stay, i think. I will need to let them know that something is happening in the floor above me as their beautifully patched bathroom wall is bubbling again. It's been 3 weeks.

Uh oh, sounds like a water leak in the walls which is not fun.

It sure does ;_; been there before! This is such an old building I don't know what or if they would do to fix it since they told me they planned to tear it down soon(ish).
