definitely sick this time

My sinuses are singlehandedly trying to flood the world with mucous. I spent all weekend congested AF and its only improved a little bit since. I feel mostly fine, it's just very hard to breathe. I don't know if it's covid or not (I am assuming it is), as both times I had it came with exhaustion which I do not have, so am masking everywhere. Which makes it even harder to breathe, but I refuse to spread my germs any more than necessary.

Yes, I probably should be staying home, but I am not.

I am leaving in less than a week! I am so not ready! I have chores to do etc, laundry should be doable tonight, I have printed a pattern for a shirtwaist for my event on the 14th but who knows if I'll have time for it.

Last week I went in for my annual mammogram (2 months after I got the requisition). The receptionist forgot to check a box when I signed in that I had arrived, so I waited unreasonably long. I went back to her, and she asked "did you sign in?" Yes, with you!! The mammogram-taker referred me to get an ultrasound (due to dense breast tissue, I had one the first time I had a mammogram too), so I will do that on Monday before I fly out. Tomorrow is the blood draw for the regular testing. Hmm I need to rebook my blood donation again, I doubt I will be fit for donating by Saturday!

For years I would always get the call back for mammograms. I tried to ask if they couldn't just do both at the same time, but nope. Meh.

Hard to breathe is not fun.

It really is ridiculous that they can't do it all once. I'm feeling the pain of privatization up here, so I can only imagine how awful it is down there.

I'm used to it, but still don't like having to come back in for things. Like do it all now - in one trip. Ha.

The bigger problem is seems like there are less doctors in general for the need. Like even if they know what you need, appointments are always 3+ months away.
