Me Made May

totchipandaI just saw a post on Instagram about Me Made May. This is maybe the first year I can give any serious thought to it. As described, it's to challenge your relationship with your handmade wardrobe and can be done with even a single piece, but it's always seemed to sneak up on me and suddenly it's May!
It does say not to rush to make anything and also don't worry about not having enough, but the making is part of my journey so NEENER! Gonna do it anyway! I want to HAVE more hand-made items with the intent to WEAR them and feel good in them. (Yesterday my coworker and I were talking about skinny jeans, as one does, and she said something about wide-legged pants. I hate how I look in wide-legged pants which makes me feel icky and I'll never wear them -- so what DO I like the look of?).
Lots of thinky thoughts about that right now. Yesterday I started playing another new game (it's kind of a combo screw-removal and traffic jam, I'm sure you know the type, which I've been considering for awhile. This one came up in another game's add and the art is capybaras so I finally downloaded it) so no sewing was done. I made myself dinner and even though I didn't make anything fancy, somehow I still spend a ton of time on it and it got really late?? IDEK.
